From City Streets to Coastal Shores ⛱️
It was a great and sunny day to try out my new Insta360 accessories which I recently purchased online. I’m talking about the ULANZI Dual Clamp Head and the official Insta360 Heavy Duty Clamp. They work really well together and they give me a variety of mounting possibilities and offer many stability to the selfie stick.
🛒 A Taste of the East at SMAK – Den Haag
During my cycling adventure, I passed through the heart of The Hague and stumbled upon a delightful surprise: SMAK Food Store, located at Spui 300, 2511 BZ Den Haag. This cozy Eastern European supermarket and café offers an authentic culinary experience right in the middle of the city.
Inside, you’ll find a delicious variety of traditional dishes from countries like Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, and Moldova. The menu features:
- 🥟 Pelmeni – Dumplings filled with beef, lamb, or turkey
- 🥟 Vareniki – Dumplings with fillings such as potato, mushrooms, or cherries
- 🥞 Syrnyky – Sweet cottage cheese pancakes served with sour cream and raspberry jam
- 🍲 Ukrainian Borscht and Solyanka – Tangy, hearty soups packed with flavor
- 🥤 Unique drinks like Georgian lemonades and Kvas, a traditional fermented rye beverage
The warm, welcoming atmosphere makes SMAK a great pit stop for cyclists and food lovers alike. While most reviews highlight the authentic food and friendly vibe, it’s worth keeping an eye on product labels for freshness.
